Who We Are PJ Nally (he/him) finds that improv makes him feel lighter than air. In addition to Hell Yeah!, he improvises with Easily Annoyed, Diff’rent Strokes, The Improvised Bluegrass Musical, Indie Team, and more. He is madly in love with Maria Schroeder and is known to kiss her often and passionately both on and off stage. Maria Schroeder (she/her) Maria Schroeder has a BFA in Musical Theatre from Missouri State University and is happy to be putting it to such good use. Outside of Hell Yeah!, you can catch her improvising with Improvised Dungeons and Dragons, Magnet Musical House Team Ephemera, and in various other shows throughout the PIT and Magnet communities. Other interests include PJ Nally, reading books she has already read, PJ Nally, finding New York City’s best bagel, PJ Nally, doing the New York Times crossword, PJ Nally, talking about Musical Theatre history, and PJ Nally. Tony Harkin (he/they) is an actor, writer, and comedian based in NYC, although they will go wherever will pay them. If you crossed Jesse Eisenberg with Jonah Hill, and added a tweedy tenor voice, Tony is basically what you get. They are thrilled to be part of Hell Yeah! and actively tries to do improv wherever and whenever possible. They do not kiss Maria Schroeder. Also their instagram is @tonyfharkin and they are single 😉 Ruth Angus (she/her) spends her days at the American Museum of Natural History where she works as an astronomer and curator, and her evenings doing musical improv with Hell Yeah! and Magnet Musical Megawatt team Ephemera. She also spends a lot of time thinking about how to bring together her two favorite things: science and theater. If you see a Hell Yeah! show that has any astronomy references in it, just know that Ruth is very, very happy. Ruth also creates theater and science programming with the Public Theater and MTC. Outside of science and theater, Ruth enjoys dancing, making music, and is an occasional and somewhat reluctant doer of outdoor things, like trail running and rock climbing. She is originally from the UK but hopes to stay in NYC forever. Ben Hirsch (he/him) has been improvising since 2014 in every style he can find. He is a former member of the Dad’s Garage Theater Company and the 2019 winner of the Atlanta Improv Tournament. Ben performs around NYC with his indie team Pie Town, is a regular contributor to the monthly variety show Hottie Bop, and when in his hometown of Atlanta, is half of the dynamic improv duo Tipping Point. In an effort to strike as sharp a contrast as possible with Rob, Ben is still employed as a software engineer. with Rob White (he/him) on the keys. Rob is originally from Atlanta and moved to NYC after a stint in Boston, where he first learned improv, and has been performing on and off for more than 10 years and playing piano since he was a wee lad of 7 years old. Not one for tradition, it is rumored that he played a Metallica song at one of this teenage piano recitals. But he digs Chopin too. I would say he’s a software engineer by day but he just quit his job so honestly who tf knows what he does for money now. You should probably venmo him.
